help and hope for families
with
challenging children...
UPLIFT
UNDERSTANDS
The entire family feels
the impact of a child
with an emotional or behavioral
disorder. This child may
be physically, emotionally
and financially draining.
Parents are often reluctant
to talk openly about their
childs problems
with relatives, professionals
or friends and often dont
know where to go for help.
The
majority of staff members
at UPLIFT are family members
of children with emotional
disorders and really do
care and understand.

in advocating for the
most appropriate services
for their child.
Individual Support

of the family, and provide

in children and
adolescents by enhancing
the knowledge, skills
and confidence of
parents.
